Fremont : Nebraska

Located in eastern Nebraska, along the Platte River, Fremont is a city in Dodge County, near Omaha. It is known locally as the “Big Fish of the Platte." The community was named after explorer, John C. Frémont.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city covers a total land area of 19.2 km² (7.4 mi²). It has an elevation of approximately 366 meters (1,203 feet) above sea level.
